Fundraising drawings your supporters will actually share
Rescue supporters are the most engaged donors there are, and the most online. A drawing they can enter from a phone and share to their own followers reaches further than any mailer — and a public results page means the people who shared it can see exactly how it ended.
Free for up to 100 entrants. No subscriptions.
What usually goes wrong
-
Reach depends on sharing
Your supporters are your distribution. A signup link that works in a Facebook group, an Instagram story and a foster newsletter alike is worth more than a bigger prize.
-
Everyone is a volunteer
The person running the raffle is usually also doing intake and transport. There is nothing to set up, nothing to install, and nothing to hand over but a login.
-
Every dollar is medical
Rescue money goes straight to vet bills. Rafflebase never takes a percentage — free to 100 entrants, then a flat one-time $25, so a bigger raffle never costs you more.
Three steps, start to finish
-
1
Post the link everywhere
One link for the Facebook group, the Instagram bio, the adoption event table and the email list.
-
2
Draw it live
Run the draw on a livestream where your community already watches. The proof publishes with the winner.
-
3
Show where it went
Share the results link alongside what the money covered. The people who shared the raffle see the outcome they created.
Every draw ships with its own proof
The winner and a SHA-256 hash of the draw publish together. Anyone can re-run the computation and confirm the same name comes out — no one has to take your word for it.

Animal shelters, specifically
- Can supporters enter from social media?
- Yes — that is the main way rescue raffles spread. Share the public signup link anywhere and people enter on their own phones. Nobody needs an account except the person running it.
- Can we run a drawing without charging for entry?
- Yes. You can run a free-entry drawing and simply not charge, which many rescues do alongside a suggested donation. Rafflebase handles entries, the draw and the proof either way; it does not process ticket payments.
- How do we prove the draw was fair?
- Every completed raffle has a public results page with the SHA-256 hash and seed behind the draw. Anyone can re-run it and get the same winner. Post that link with the announcement and the question never comes up.
- What if a raffle goes viral and we blow past 100 entrants?
- Upgrade that raffle for a one-time $25 and the cap comes off, along with CSV export, multiple winners, new signup alerts and payment reminder emails. Your other raffles stay free.
