The post drawing, without the ticket book
Your post has run raffles the same way for decades, and the tradition is part of the point. What changes is the paperwork: entries counted for you, a record the quartermaster can actually reconcile, and a result the whole membership can check for themselves.
Free for up to 100 entrants. No subscriptions.
What usually goes wrong
-
The books never reconcile
Stub counts against cash across a dozen sellers is the oldest problem in post fundraising. Digital entries are tallied as they arrive and export to CSV when you close.
-
Members are spread out
Not everyone makes it to the post. A signup link reaches members who moved away, deployed, or cannot drive at night — and they enter on the same terms as everyone at the bar.
-
Some drawings run all year
Weekly drawings, an annual banquet raffle, and a queen-of-hearts style draw all live in one dashboard, each keeping its own entry list and audit trail after it closes.
Three steps, start to finish
-
1
Add members or share a link
Enter members yourself at the post, or share the signup link in the newsletter and let them enter from home.
-
2
Draw at the meeting
Run the draw in the hall. The winner and the proof publish at the same moment, in front of everyone.
-
3
Hand the record to the quartermaster
Export the entrant list and keep the audit trail. The paperwork is done before the meeting ends.
Every draw ships with its own proof
The winner and a SHA-256 hash of the draw publish together. Anyone can re-run the computation and confirm the same name comes out — no one has to take your word for it.

Veterans posts, specifically
- Can we still sell paper tickets at the post?
- Yes. Add those buyers manually so the paper and digital entries land in one list and one draw. The audit trail records who was added and when, which is what makes reconciliation straightforward.
- Can we run a recurring weekly drawing?
- Create a raffle per week and keep them all in one dashboard. Closed raffles keep their entry list and results, so the season is on record rather than in a binder.
- Do members need to create accounts?
- No. Only the person managing the raffle signs up. Members open the public link and fill in the form, or you add them yourself.
- What does it cost the post?
- Nothing up to 100 entrants, including the public signup page, the verified draw and the audit trail. Past that it is a one-time $25 for that raffle, which adds unlimited entrants, CSV export, multiple winners and new signup alerts. No subscription and no cut of what you raise.
