Getting started

4 questions

What is Rafflebase?

Rafflebase helps you organize, run, and verify raffles from start to finish. Collect entries, manage participants, and draw winners with cryptographically provable randomness. Whether it’s a giveaway, door prize, or team assignment, everything is transparent and verifiable by anyone.

How do I create a raffle?

Create an account, click “New raffle,” and give it a name. Add participants by typing names, pasting a list, or sharing a public signup link. When you’re ready, close entries and draw your winners with one click.

Is Rafflebase free to use?

Yes — creating, publishing, and running raffles with up to 100 participants is completely free. An optional one-time $25 per-raffle upgrade unlocks unlimited entrants, CSV export, multiple winners, payment reminder emails, and an email alert every time someone enters. No subscriptions, no per-entry fees, no surprises.

Is there a participant limit?

Free raffles can have up to 100 participants. The $25 per-raffle upgrade removes the cap entirely — whether you have 200 participants or 10,000.

How it works

4 questions

How are winners selected?

Winners are selected using cryptographically secure random number generation. No human bias, no favoritism — just pure, verifiable chance. Every draw produces a unique signature that proves the results weren’t tampered with.

Can participants verify results?

Optionally, yes. For any public raffle, you can share the raffle’s activity log that shows a timeline of entries and the draw execution. Participants can see that the process was fair, even without seeing other participants’ personal information.

Does Rafflebase handle money or prizes?

Nope — and that’s intentional. We do one thing really well: fair, transparent winner selection. You handle your prizes however works best for you. We just make sure the drawing is transparent and verifiably random. No payment processing, no prize fulfillment, no complications.

Is this gambling?

Rafflebase is an organization and transparency platform for raffles — think of it as a digital way to manage entries and draw names from a hat, but with cryptographic proof that the results are fair. We don’t facilitate paid entries or wagering. You’re responsible for following any applicable laws in your area.

Privacy & security

2 questions

What data do you collect?

For organizers: email and password to create an account. For participants: name and email (so winners can be contacted). We don’t sell data or use it for marketing. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Is participant information shared publicly?

The activity log (if enabled) shows that entries happened, but personal details are redacted. Only the organizer sees full participant information. For public raffles, the organizer may choose to display winner names — this is an optional setting they control.
