Common questions
Is it free for my participants to enter?
Yes, always. Participants never pay anything to enter your raffle. Publishing is free for you too — the optional $25 upgrade only applies if you want unlimited entrants, CSV export, multiple winners, or new signup alerts.
How is this different from a free random picker?
Unverified pickers just generate a random number you have to take on faith. Rafflebase is a complete platform: branded signup pages, participant management, email confirmations, and cryptographic proof that results weren't tampered with. If your raffle needs to hold up to scrutiny, that's what we're built for.
Can I try it before paying?
There's nothing to pay for up front. Create an account, set up your raffle, publish it, and run it end to end — free for up to 100 participants. The $25 per-raffle upgrade is only needed for unlimited entrants, CSV export, multiple winners, payment reminder emails, and new signup alerts. No credit card needed.
Can participants sign up themselves?
Yes. Every raffle gets a shareable public page where people can enter on their own. Share the link via email, social media, QR code, or your website. You can also add participants manually or paste a list.
What does "cryptographically verified" mean?
Each draw generates a SHA-256 hash that locks in the results. Anyone can independently verify that the winner selection was truly random and hasn't been altered. It's the same type of proof used in banking and blockchain systems.
Is there a limit on how many people can enter?
Free raffles can have up to 100 participants. Upgrading for $25 (one-time, per raffle) removes the cap entirely and adds CSV export, multiple winners, payment reminder emails, and new signup alerts — whether you have 200 participants or 10,000.
