The problem

The technical details

How verification works

We use the same cryptographic techniques trusted by banks and casinos.

    Secret seed generated

    A random seed is created and cryptographically committed before entries close.

    Entries recorded

    All participants are added. The entry list is locked and timestamped.

  3. 3

    Winner calculated

    SHA-256 hash of seed + entries determines the winner mathematically.

    Anyone can verify

    All inputs are revealed. Anyone can recalculate and confirm the result.

SHA-256 is the same hashing algorithm that secures Bitcoin and is trusted by governments and financial institutions worldwide. It’s mathematically impossible to reverse or predict, making it perfect for provably fair random selection.
