Rafflebase vs RallyUp

A whole fundraising suite, priced as a percentage

RallyUp does far more than raffles — auctions, ticketing, crowdfunding, peer-to-peer, a-thons, livestreaming. If you need that breadth it is a serious platform. The trade is how it is paid for: either your donors are asked to tip, or a platform fee comes out of what you raise.

Fair description

What RallyUp is

RallyUp is an all-in-one fundraising platform for nonprofits, with raffles as one component among many. It processes payments, so it can sell entries directly. Its Free plan carries no platform fee but asks donors to add a tip at checkout; its Flex plan removes tipping in exchange for a platform fee based on activity.

RallyUp pricing

  • Free Free Donor tipping at checkout, no platform fee, core components
  • Flex 2.9%–6.9% No donor tipping; platform fee based on activity, optionally passed to donors
  • Enterprise Custom Large campaigns and in-person events
Being straight with you

When RallyUp is the better choice

We would rather you picked the right tool than picked ours.

  • You run auctions, ticketed events or crowdfunding alongside the raffle and want one platform for all of it.
  • You need entry payments collected and disbursed for you.
  • In-person event tooling — paddle raise, event balances, automated checkout — is part of your evening.
  • You would rather pay nothing up front and let the fee come out of proceeds.
The other side

When Rafflebase is the better choice

  • You do not want a percentage of what you raise going anywhere, at any volume.
  • You do not want your donors asked to tip a software company at checkout.
  • The raffle is the whole job, not one component of a gala platform.
  • You want cryptographic proof of the draw, which a fundraising suite does not provide.
